When We Are Closed

For emergencies out with surgery hours you should contact NHS 24 on 111.

Further information can be found on the NHS 24 website - www.nhs24.scot                        closed sign

NHS 24 is the clinical telephone health information, advice and referral service in Scotland.

Should you need emergency care when the practice is closed out with normal surgery hours, please contact NHS 24 on 111.

NHS 24 is an essential part of the Tayside out of hour’s arrangements. If you or someone you care for is unwell and you feel you can’t wait until the Practice re-opens then you can call NHS 24 and speak to an experienced nurse or health information advisors who will assess the situation and advise you on what to do next, for example, see another health professional or explain how to look after yourself at home.

Remember that house calls will only be made to seriously ill/housebound patients.

  • Out of hours (NHS 24) - Contact 111 (Freephone)
  • Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
